LME WEEK 2018: Base metals panel: lead prices stable but zinc underperforms

To mark the start of LME Week 2018, which is being held at various locations across London this week, the London Metal Exchange’s analysis of the base metals market has begun, with an initial focus on zinc and lead.

Michael Widmer, head of metals research with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Vivienne Lloyd, base metals strategist with Macquarie Commodities, presented a quick analysis of the sister metals, showing the key market trends over 2018 and the outlooks for zinc and lead.
