GLOBAL MANGANESE WRAP: Low-grade ore prices edge higher; US alloy prices soften

Fastmarkets MB’s 37% manganese ore index, fob Port Elizabeth also rose 4 cents to $6.22 per dmtu. Due to thin trading during China’s Golden Week holiday, the high-grade ore market paused while domestic port activity ceased completely. Fastmarkets MB’s 44% manganese ore index, cif Tianjin was unchanged week on week at $7.14 per dmtu.
