Morocco’s anti-dumping duty on Turkish HRC broke rules, WTO says

The World Trade Organization has ruled that Morocco’s anti-dumping duty on Turkish hot-rolled coil, imposed four years ago, violates the international regulator’s rules on anti-dumping.

Morocco had imposed a permanent 11% anti-dumping duty on Turkish HRC in August 2014, which was subsequently challenged by Turkey in October 2016. The duty was applied on products with the following custom codes: 7209, 7211 (except 7211.13, 7211.14, 7211.19), 7225, 7226, 7210 (except 7210.11, 7210.12, 7210.90.21.00, 7210.90.22.00, 7210.90.23.00), 7212 (except 7212.10), 7225, and 7226.
