Higher price will help sell iron ore assets, CSN finance chief says

Brazil’s Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSN) is still trying to sell assets in order to reduce its high debt loading, chief financial officer Marcelo Ribeiro told analysts on Thursday November 8.

The company’s mining division could secure a streaming deal or pre-payment contracts, and the trend for rising prices for iron ore would support this decision, Ribeiro said.
