Seaborne iron ore concentrate, pellet markets still quiet

Seaborne iron ore concentrate and pellet trading remained quiet in the week to Friday January 25 amid lackluster demand from China.

Concentrates Fastmarkets' weekly MB 66% Fe Iron Ore Concentrate Index was $94.17 per tonne cfr China on Friday, up by $1.28 per tonne from January 18. And Fastmarkets' daily MB 65% Fe Iron Ore Index averaged $89.18 per tonne cfr China last week, $0.84 per tonne higher than the previous week's average of $88.34 per tonne cfr.
