Chinese plate export prices narrow on higher trading activity

Chinese plate export prices narrowed over the past week, with exporters raising their offers in comparison with those before the Lunar New Year, though some of them conceded to lower numbers.

Fastmarkets MB’s export price assessment for April shipments of commercial-grade, chromium-added plate was $530-535 per tonne fob for the week ended Tuesday February 19, narrowing from $520-540 per tonne fob a week earlier.
