Global crude steel output up 1% in January, Worldsteel says

Steelmakers across the world produced 146.7 million tonnes of crude steel in January, up 1% compared with 145.2 million tonnes a year earlier, according to statistics published by the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) on Tuesday February 26.
