CHINA HRC: Sellers raise prices on stronger demand

Sellers in China’s domestic hot-rolled coil market largely raised their prices again on Monday March 4 amid increasing demand.

Domestic Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,870-3,900 yuan ($577-581) per tonne, up 30-40 yuan per tonne Northern China (Tianjin): 3,800-3,810 yuan per tonne, narrowed by 10-40 yuan per tonne on both ends Domestic prices remained high on Monday with most mills raising their offers on strengthening demand.
