The March surcharges for grade-304 cold-rolled (CR) stainless sheets increased to €1,308-1,351 ($1,474-1,522) per tonne on March 1, according to data released by Outokumpu, Acerinox and Aperam. This was up by €116-118 per tonne from the surcharges in February.
The full rise has not yet been fully implemented in trading, but higher offers were beginning to emerge.
The price of grade-304 CR sheets, delivered Northern Europe, was unchanged week on week at €2,100-2,150 per tonne on March 8.
