Chinese govt launches safety inspections in Jiangxi province; buoys tungsten market

The Chinese government has launched a round of safety inspections targeting 20 cities, including Ganzhou city of Jiangxi province - a tungsten production hub - which is lending support to the tungsten market.

According to the announcement from the Ministry of Emergency Management last week, six law enforcement watchdogs that conduct safety inspections in underground mines will be dispatched during the March and April period, targeting 20 cities.
