China’s daily crude steel output drops in early March

China’s major mills cut their daily output rates for crude steel in early March after local authorities in some parts of the country tightened restrictions on production.

Members of the China Iron & Steel Association (Cisa) produced crude steel at an average rate of 1.88 million tonnes per day during the first 10 days of March, down 4% from 1.96 million tpd in late February, according to data released by the industry body late on Monday March 25....
