CESCO: Minera Chinalco Perú to target M&A in strategic plan, exec says

Minera Chinalco Perú SA is planning to target mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as part of its future strategic plan for growth, a company executive said.

The company is a subsidiary of Chinalco Mining Corp International (CMCI), and operates the Toromocho mine in Peru’s Morococha mining district. State-owned Chinalco is the largest shareholder of CMCI.
