CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices dip on declining futures

China’s domestic rebar prices decreased slightly on Friday April 12 amid retreating futures.

Domestic Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,020-4,070 yuan ($598-606) per tonne, down 10 yuan per tonne Northern China (Beijing): 3,960-4,000 yuan per tonne, down 10 yuan per tonne Rebar futures ended their continual rally since March 29, and dropped slightly during the day, which led to sentiment in the spot market deteriorating.
