Chinese market largely stable on steady demand

Chinese domestic ferro-silicon prices were unchanged in the week ended Friday April 12 despite tender purchase prices from steel mills for April coming in a bit higher than last month’s.

Fastmarkets assessed the Chinese domestic spot ferro-silicon (basis 75% silicon) price at 6,100-6,400 ($909-954) yuan per tonne on April 12, unchanged from a week earlier....
