China's FeV exports dip 19.8% in March, V2O5 shipments up 62.5%

China exported around 478 tonnes of ferro-vanadium (basis 75% vanadium) in March - a 19.8% fall compared with February and down 34.4% year on year - according to official, but unconfirmed, data seen by Fastmarkets MB.

The decline in ferro-vanadium export volumes in March was partly due to the fact that Chinese ferro-vanadium exporters showed less interest in exporting their material abroad when noticing that the domestic price was more favorable than the price in the international market, Fastmarkets understands.
