Weaker chrome concentrate prices will knock H1 2019 earnings - Tharisa

South African miner Tharisa has warned in a trading statement that a 15.5% year-on-year drop in chrome concentrate prices in the six months to March 31, 2019, will affect its earnings for the period.

Tharisa, which produces platinum group metals (PGM) and chrome concentrate, also reported lower sales volumes and resulting higher mining costs in its 2019 financial first half.
