US structural tubing prices follow HRC lower

Prices for domestically produced structural tubing in the United States weakened for the sixth straight week while buyers mostly stayed away until they perceive an end to the nose dive in hot-rolled coil costs.

Fastmarkets AMM's weekly pricing assessment for US domestic A500 hollow structural sections (HSS) declined at the high end of the range, to $890-930 per short ton ($44.50-46.50 per hundredweight) fob mill on Thursday June 6, from $890-940 per ton ($44.50-47 per cwt) on Thursday May 30.
