Seaborne iron ore concentrate and pellet prices dropped last week amid a general weakening of the market.

Concentrate prices Fastmarkets' weekly MB 66% Fe Iron Ore Concentrate Index stood at $112.02 per tonne cfr China on Friday June 7, down by $6.08 per tonne week on week. And the daily Fastmarkets MB 65% Fe Iron Ore Index averaged $115.03 per tonne cfr China last week, compared with an average of $120.58 per tonne cfr China a week earlier. The price movement was based on the visible market activity detailed below, which was included in the index calculation according to the published methodology.
