GLOBAL SILICON SNAPSHOT: US silicon may be finding bottom; European prices drop on sluggish demand

Key data from the pricing sessions Europe and the United States for the week-long period to Monday June 10.

United States  Market sources, including many buyers, agreed that the US silicon price seems to be approaching a floor after declining by at least a few cents per lb every month of 2019. The price for grade-553 silicon has remained nearly flat in thin trading, narrowing to $1.08-1.11 per lb on Monday June 10 from $1.08-1.12 per lb on May 10. Downward pressure still remains...
