CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices flat amid fluctuation in futures market

China’s domestic rebar prices were unchanged on Thursday June 13 amid fluctuating futures, though export prices dipped with mills feeling the selling pressure.

Domestic Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,880-3,920 yuan ($561-567) per tonne, unchanged Northern China (Beijing): 3,790-3,840 yuan per tonne, unchanged Rebar futures dropped sharply in first few minutes of the afternoon trading session but went on to recover the losses, and ended the day slightly higher compared with Wednesday’s close.
