Tshipi manganese ore production, sales down for Q1 2020

South African manganese miner Tshipi recorded year-on-year drops in manganese ore production and sales in the three months to May 31, its owner Jupiter Mines said on Wednesday June 26.

Tshipi produced 880,724 tonnes of manganese ore during the quarter, the first of its 2020 financial year that runs from March to March, down by 3.7% compared with the first quarter of its 2019 financial year.
