Ferro-Alloy Resources boosts V2O5 production to 71.5 tonnes in H1

Ferro-Alloys Resources, the vanadium mining and processing company based in Kazakhstan, increased its output of vanadium pentoxide in the first half of this year to 71.5 tonnes, it said in a press release on Tuesday July 16.

This volume represented a 55% year-on-year increase in comparison with the first half of 2018.
The company also reported record monthly production of 17.6 tonnes of vanadium pentoxide in June this year, and expected a significant increase in production during the fourth quarter of this year, it added.
The company’s operations are all located at the Balasausqandiq deposit in Kyzylordinskaya Oblast in southern Kazakhstan.
