NEWSBREAK: Indonesia considers ban of bauxite exports - sources

Indonesia is drafting regulations to ban the export of bauxite from the country, sources told Fastmarkets on Monday September 9.

Local Chinese media have also reported on the proposed ban, citing confirmation from Indonesia minister of marine affairs Luhut Pandjaitan on Monday, who has reportedly said the aim of the ban is to develop its own mining industry.
