CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices stable despite start of Tangshan output restrictions

China’s domestic rebar prices remained flat on Thursday, October 10, despite production restrictions being introduced in the northern steelmaking hub of Tangshan.

Domestic  Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,720-3,750 yuan ($523-527) per tonne, unchanged Northern China (Beijing): 3,590-3,630 yuan per tonne, unchanged Some steel mills in Tangshan are required to cut blast furnace production by 50% from October 10 until the end of the month, according to a local industry information provider.
