Road access to MMG’s Las Bambas copper mine blocked again; production unaffected so far

Road access to MMG’s Las Bambas copper mine in Peru has been interrupted since September 22, the company said in a notice to the Hong Kong Exchange on Thursday October 10.

The blockade occurred in various sections between Sayhua, about 50 kilometres from Las Bambas, and Velille, 250 kilometres from Las Bambas, in the province of Chumbivilicas, Cusco Region in Peru.
