CHINA REBAR: Prices steady amid inactivity

China’s rebar prices were unchanged on Friday November 1 in both the domestic and export markets amid inactive trading.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,670-3,700 yuan ($521-525) per tonne, unchanged
Northern China (Beijing): 3,620-3,650 yuan per tonne, unchanged
Buyers stopped replenishing their inventories ahead of the weekend and withdrew to the sidelines to see how the futures market develops, sources said.
