CHINA REBAR: Warm weather boosts eastern region demand, but prices stay flat

Eastern China’s rebar prices stayed flat on Monday, November 11, despite an increase in demand driven by the mild weather in the region.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,700-3,740 yuan ($529-534) per tonne, unchanged
Northern China (Beijing): 3,630-3,650 yuan per tonne, down 10 yuan per tonnes
Sellers in eastern China kept prices flat to encourage higher sales volumes before more supplies arrived from rebar producers in the northern region, sources said.
