TURKEY LONG STEEL EXPORTS: Mills fail to pass on higher scrap costs in finished steel prices

The prices of long steel exports out of Turkey have remained stable over the past week, with the mills failing to reflect increases in scrap costs in their sales prices, sources said on Thursday November 21.

Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), export, fob main port Turkey, was $415-420 per tonne on Thursday, unchanged week on week.
