The US nickel briquette premium rose on Tuesday with limited spot business concluded in a tighter range.

Fastmarkets’ assessment of the nickel briquette premium, delivered Midwest US rose to 15-18 cents per lb on January 14 from 13-19 cents per lb in the prior week’s assessment. The premium had ended the year at 13-18 cents per lb on December 31.
