Hyundai Motors to resume production on Feb 10; no HRC surplus expected

South Korea's Hyundai Motors is scheduled to resume domestic automotive production from February 10, concurrent with Chinese part suppliers in its supply chain resuming work on the same day.

The shutdown of Hyundai Motor's two automotive lines will range between five and seven days and is not expected to cause a major disruption to its production schedule, a spokesman from steelmaker Hyundai Steel told Fastmarkets.
