China The Chinese ferro-silicon spot price jumped by 12.6% on Friday February 14 on stronger tender prices for 72-grade alloy by Hesteel, the second-largest steel mill in China, for February deliveries. Hesteel’s final tender price came in at 6,900 yuan ($988) per tonne, 750 yuan higher than in the previous month.
