TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Some prices decrease in pessimistic market

Prices for some flat steel products declined in Turkey in the week to Friday March 13 amid pessimism in the market due to fears over the spread of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) to the country.

Two cases of the virus have been announced in Turkey this week and further spread is one of the biggest fears.
In addition, the plunge in global stock exchanges due to the virus and falling oil prices caused pessimism in all commodity markets, except for sanitizers, Turkish sources told Fastmarkets.
