GEM to resume normal cobalt production at Jingmen by March-end

Chinese cobalt producer GEM is likely to resume operations equivalent to the rate held prior to the extended Chinese New Year holiday (January 24-February 2) at its plant in Jingmen city, Hubei province, by the end of this month, a company source told Fastmarkets.

Following local authorities’ instructions that manufacturers in Hubei province could restart, GEM has started to gradually resume operations at its Jingmen plant.
