Glencore says no material impact on ops or supply chain from coronavirus

Glencore is not experiencing any material disruptions at its operating assets or within its supply chain due to the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), it said, but it has experienced an impact on certain smaller operations where governments have imposed restrictions.

The Swiss mining and marketing company did not specify which smaller assets had been affected. Glencore operates in countries such as Peru and Chile where border closures and other restrictions have been imposed, however, prompting mining companies that operate there to reduce or close capacity.
In Chile, Glencore has a 44% stake in the Collahuasi copper mine and operates the Lomas Bayas copper mine as well as the Altonorte copper smelter.

In Peru, the company has a 33.75% stake in the Antamina copper and zinc mine as well as the Antapaccay copper mine and processing facility. It also has various logistics facilities via Perubar and various smaller copper, zinc, lead and silver...
