Boeing halts output in US state of Washington for 2 weeks

Boeing is suspending operations at plants across the Puget Sound area of Washington state, in the United States, beginning Wednesday March 25 due to the escalating Covid-19 pandemic, Boeing said one day after an employee died from the disease.

The suspension of production at facilities in Washington State will last for two weeks, Boeing said on March 23, citing the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in the region.
