Noranda Income Fund's CEZinc refinery deemed essential, guidance unchanged

Noranda Income Fund’s (NIF) zinc processing facility in the Canadian province of Quebec has been deemed an essential supplier to several industries during the Covid-19 pandemic by the state government and is continuing its priority manufacturing activities as a result.

To date, measures implemented have not had a significant impact on its operations, and prior guidance on 2020 sales and production levels remain unchanged.
NIF’s Canadian Electrolytic Zinc (CEZinc) processing facility, located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, produces refined zinc metal and other by-products, including sulfuric acid.
