CIS PIG IRON: Exporters optimistic about further demand in China

The market for pig iron exports from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was firm in the week to Thursday May 21, with suppliers optimistic about new sales to China and continued demand in that country.

Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for high-manganese pig iron, export, fob main port Black Sea, CIS, was $290-295 per tonne on May 21, unchanged week on week.
