Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for tungsten concentrate 65% WO3, in-whs China
was 80,000-83,000 yuan ($11,170-11,589) per tonne on Wednesday May 27, unchanged from a week earlier.
“The tungsten concentrate price has stopped rising recently because downstream APT plants couldn’t accept any prices higher than 83,000 yuan per tonne. I heard limited volumes were traded between 80,000-81,000 yuan per tonne,” a trader said.
