Singapore rebar prices rise after Myanmar transaction

Demand for rebar imports in Singapore remained thin despite the expected gradual resumption of construction activity, market sources told Fastmarkets this past week.

"There is still a lot of coordination between various government ministries and some policies are not clear yet," a buyer source in Singapore told Fastmarkets on Thursday June 25.
Buyers remained cautious about downstream demand and were not looking to purchase materials.
