China’s crude steel output maintains growth in June

China’s crude steel output continued to rise on a year-on-year basis in June, but production was slightly lower than a month earlier, according to data released by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Thursday July 16.

Crude steel: 91.58 million tonnes, up by 4.5% from a year earlier, down by 0.7% from May
Hot metal: 76.64 million tonnes, up 4.1% year on year, down by 0.9% month on month
