Taiwan wins reversal on US anti-dumping 'collapse'

The United States Federal Circuit on Wednesday July 15 decided to reverse the US Department of Commerce’s decision to collapse three Taiwanese steelmakers to calculate a combined anti-dumping margin for certain corrosion-resistant steel products (CORE), according to public documents.

Prosperity Tieh Enterprise and Yieh Phui Enterprise previously filed a case against Commerce for its decision to “collapse” three Taiwanese steelmakers into a single entity for the calculation of duties on their CORE products, arguing that Commerce “considered evidence outside the period of investigation.”
