CIS FLAT STEEL: Exports quiet as Russian mills focus on home market

The export market for flat steel products from the Commonwealth of Independent States was silent during the week ended Monday July 20 on low availability, because Russian suppliers were focused on their domestic market.

Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for steel hot-rolled coil, export, fob Black Sea, CIS, was $400-415 per tonne on Monday, up by $5 per tonne from $395-410 per tonne a week before.
