Ferro-vanadium price climbs to one-month high on increased buying interest in Europe

The European ferro-vanadium market climbed to a one-month high on Friday July 24 on increased buying interest in Europe, with the price moving up 4.9% in the second half of the week.

Fastmarkets assessed the ferro-vanadium, basis 78% V min, 1st grade, ddp Western Europe price at $22.85-24 per kg on Friday - its highest since June 24 and up from the midweek assessment of $22.10-22.55 per kg, when the price had dropped from $22.20-22.70 per kg.
