VIETNAM STEEL SCRAP: Buyer books 75,000 tonnes of deep-sea material

A major Vietnamese buyer booked 75,000 tonnes of deep-sea HMS 1&2 (80:20) from Europe and Australia this week on stable demand.

The buyer bought a 45,000-tonne cargo from Europe at $316 per tonne cfr Vietnam, which consisted of 20,000 tonnes of plate & structural (P&S) scrap, 10,000 tonnes of shredded scrap and 15,000 tonnes of heavy melting scrap 1&2 (80:20).
It also bought a 30,000-tonne cargo from Australia at a base price of $318 per tonne cfr Vietnam for HMS 1&2 (80:20).
