China’s auto output, sales grow in six months to September

China’s auto output and sales have posted annual increases over the past six consecutive months due to the government’s efforts to boost consumption, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said on Tuesday October 13.


China's auto output rose by 14.1% year on year to 2.52 million vehicles in September, while sales that month hit 2.57 million units, up by 12.8% from a year ago, CAAM data shows.
