Liberty eyes Thyssenkrupp's steel business

Liberty Steel Group has made a non-binding offer to acquire the steel business of German industrial group Thyssenkrupp, the London-based company said on Friday October 16.

New synergies and vertical integration were expected in the European steel market with Liberty announcing that it has made a non-binding indicative offer (NBIO) to buy Thyssenkrupp’s steelmaking business.
