TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Domestic prices continue to decline on poor demand

Domestic prices for hot-rolled and cold-rolled coil in Turkey have moved down further during the week to Friday October 16 on limited market activity, sources told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets’ weekly price assessment for steel HRC, domestic, exw Turkey was $510-520 per tonne on Friday, down by $10 per tonne week on week from $520-530 per tonne.
The weekly price assessment for steel CRC, domestic, exw Turkey was $580-600 per tonne on Friday, down by $10-20 per tonne from $600-610 per tonne a week earlier.
Both assessments reflect achievable prices and offers heard in the market.
