CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices stop dropping on good demand

China’s domestic rebar prices stopped falling on Tuesday October 27, with the mild weather leading to steady demand.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 3,700-3,730 yuan ($552-557) per tonne, unchanged
Buying demand was also stimulated by the positive futures market. Rebar futures were above Monday’s settlement price of 3,613 yuan per tonne in most trading hours on Tuesday.

And traders in Shanghai said their inventories were gradually dropping.
