Chinese copper smelters' new concs blending facilities set for Dec start, sources say

At least two new blending facilities in China will start operating next month to import and process complex copper concentrate, Fastmarkets has learned.

Chinese customs authorities a few months ago gave the go-ahead to Chinese copper smelters in Shandong province’s Yantai city and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region’s Fangchenggang city to process complex concentrate, the import of which requires licenses.
