CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices slide further on weaker end-user demand

China’s domestic rebar prices decreased again on Tuesday November 24 due to weakened demand from the construction sector as a result of rain.

Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,150-4,170 yuan ($631-634) per tonne, down by 30 yuan per tonne
Persistent rain in eastern China is affecting the transportation of rebar and work in the construction sector.
Restocking demand was also down as a result of a subdued futures market.
